And of course, Damascus was mentioned many times in the Bible. About 10% of the city’s population is Christian.
Damascus is becoming something of a Christian pilgrimage site these days. It is incredible safe, and very welcoming for people of all religions.

Yes, it’s about 10% of the population of Damascus, 10% of Syria as a whole, and 30% of Aleppo.
